SHABO Limited Edition by Kakhetian technology

The limited collection of orange-wine still wines is created according to the centuries-old Georgian wine-making technology unique to the whole world - Kakhetian, when fermentation and aging take place on the skin in clay amphorae "kvevri".

This wine-making technology is perhaps the oldest in the world - it is about 8 thousand years old.

It has no analogues and is included in the list of intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO.

Today, the production of kvevri is carried out by individuals, as a rule, family dynasties of Georgia, which pass down their recipe for creating these special "amphorae" from generation to generation.

One of these dynasties of Kbilashvili artisans (living in the Telavsky district) made kvevri for SHABO.

The company brought to Ukraine on February 15, volumes of 1400 and 2000 liters, and installed them in the SHABO Wine House.

In each such cone-shaped amphora, which is located underground, the process of maceration and aging on the muscle takes place for 5 months.

When infused on the skin, the wine acquires a bright amber color and is saturated with antioxidants and vitamins contained in the solid particles of grapes.

The wine also undergoes additional bottle aging.
